چکیده
Cereals are common in Ethiopian diets, but the people’s consumption habits complex, with no single crop dominating. Empirical analysis of cereal household demand is required to quantify responses value changes and individual income changes. A purpose this study assess for major crops Ethiopia using secondary data from Social Economic Survey 2018/19 (ESS) 1700 households cereal-growing consumers. This paper utilises descriptive statistics Almost Ideal Demand System (AIDS) model estimate parameters crops. Household response decreases as commodity rise. Teff most price-sensitive classified a luxury good because its greater than one. How will climate change spatially affect agriculture production in Ethiopia? Case studies of important cereal crops
Nearly all of Ethiopia’s agriculture is dependent on rainfall, particularly the amount and seasonal occurrence. Future climate change predictions agree that changes in rainfall, temperature, and seasonality will impact Ethiopia with dramatic consequences. When, where, and how these changes will transpire has not been adequately addressed. The objective of our study was to model how projected cl...
متن کاملAn Ultrasonic System for Weed Detection in Cereal Crops
Site-specific weed management requires sensing of the actual weed infestation levels in agricultural fields to adapt the management accordingly. However, sophisticated sensor systems are not yet in wider practical use, since they are not easily available for the farmers and their handling as well as the management practice requires additional efforts. A new sensor-based weed detection method is...

Three major cereal crops, rice (Oryza sativa), maize (Zea mays), and wheat (Triticum sp.), provide two-thirds of the world's food energy intake. Although crop yields have improved tremendously thanks to technological advances in the past 50 years, population increases and climate changes contin...
